About Us

Eastminster is a church of people, from all walks of life with many varied backgrounds. Some have children and some do not. Some are married, others are not. Some of us live close by and others make the drive weekly. We are a people of different ages groups. People with distinctly different needs. Some have large loads from the past to deal with. Others have small loads. We worship in different ways, with different styles of music, and in different locations on campus. But we meet to worship a living God and draw encouragement from each other in the process. We meet because that's what Jesus would have us do. We worship together because that's what Jesus said for us to do. We help each other because Jesus set the example and we share the love of Christ with a dying world because that's what's on his heart. We are by God's grace, a church of people, we just happen to use these wonderful buildings here at Eastminster as a place to meet.

Music

At Eastminster we enjoy a wide range of encouraging music. Opportunities for children are highlighted. Check out this large changing section on Music at Eastminster.

Bible Study

The Bible is the road map of life. The Bible is the owners manual, the written word of God. This is part of our "Reaching In" goal of growing in Christ. We have many different small groups and classes that meet in many different locations. Join us and bring the kids along. Don't forget your Bible.

Worship

Special Events

Throughout the year we enjoy celebrating special times in the history of the church. It's fun and we look forward to these times as a large group. Check out just a few of these events and make a special note of the dates on your calendar.

History of Eastminster

We would be remiss in our explanation of who we are if we didn't tell you something about how we got here. Take a picture walk with us as we share some of how we became a church of people and the importance of those that came before.

What we believe

We have a clear concept of what we believe in a world that is desperately seeking something to believe in. It's recorded in the Bible that a Roman commander asked Jesus what truth was? Jesus replied by saying, "I am the truth." If you need a mission statement of what we are all about, then this is it.

When and where we meet

We get together as a large group regularly for the Saturday evening meeting and Sunday morning. There's an interactive map (IE only) in this section to help you find your direction no mater where you may live. There's also a campus map to help you find your way to our many meeting rooms.

The Staff of Eastminster

The staff take care of the business of the Church. It is supplemented by the Session, the Ministry Teams, and most importantly the volunteers.

Policies

This section contains the guidelines and policies from which we conduct events held at Eastminster. Policies concerning weddings, funerals and youth activities, are contained in this section. This is a reference section for information on how we "do business at Eastminster."
