The courses offered during the year are provided to
assist you in becoming a fully-devoted follower of Christ -- a
disciple. In the Presbyterian tradition, disciples are
biblically literate and deeply committed to learning more.
You are encouraged,
therefore, to participate in one course a quarter so that you
can confidently say,
“I am a
disciple of Jesus Christ.”
Adult classes offered at Eastminster are broken down into
three categories:
-
Biblical
Skills,
-
Biblical Knowledge and
-
Biblical Applications.
Biblical
Skills
There
are skills or disciplines that equip students to learn the
habits of a disciple -- how to study God’s Word, the habits of daily quiet time, prayer, tithing fellowship and sharing
your Christian
experience. These classes are short term
opportunities (6-12 weeks
or seminars).

Biblical
Knowledge

and principles contained in the Old and New Testaments. The
Holy Spirit
works with one’s biblical knowledge to grow faith.
These classes are both short term and long term (12 weeks or more)
opportunities.
