Open Night   

     Open  Night  is held six times a year to provide an initial contact with non-believing students through fun and establishing relationships with other students.  Students are invited to to Power & Light after they have attended an OPEN Night.  Purpose:  EVANGELISM

 

Power & Light

     P & L  is  a Sunday evening fellowship  for senior high students  designed to INTRODUCE students to Christ.  If a student comes to P & L for the first time, they will leave learning some biblical truth about Jesus, and will have an opportunity to respond to what they have heard.  

 

Hangouts 

     Hangouts help students build FRIENDSHIPS with other Christians.  This might include a service project, Christian concert, etc.  Generally we will have 2-4 Hangouts per year. 

 

The Living Room

     The Living Room meets on a week night outside the church and  is a bible study designed to bring students together for study, prayer, accountability, to build FRIENDSHIPS, and sharing life experiences together.   

 

Discipleship Groups

     These are same gender small groups which meet once a week to spend time in the WORD, SHARE their successes and failures, and PRAY for each other. These groups are closed and will be formed as needed.

 

Habits  

     Habits is a class designed to teach students how to GROW in their faith on a daily basis.  This 3-hour class gives practical steps to forming good spiritual disciplines in their lives. 

 

Summer Camp 

     SUMMER CAMP is a week-long camp where students will participate in small groups, fantastic worship, multi-media shows,  and fabulous  fun.  

 

Mission Trip 

     Students will take mission trips on a yearly basis to help them GROW in their faith by serving others.

 

S.H.A.P.E.

     SHAPE will help students discover their ability to serve by identifying their spiritual gifts through a 5-step process.  This is a 3 hour class that will meet 2-3 times a year.   

 

Worship Team

     The worship team challenges committed believers to discover their ability to SERVE either vocally or through musical instruments.

   

Alpha-Kai Weekend

     Student Leadership Weekend designed to help students develop leadership gifts, and SERVE in ministry. 

 

4:12

     4:12 is  a Wednesday afternoon meeting for junior high students and is  designed to INTRODUCE students to Christ.  A typical night will consist of high-energy competitions, wild and crazy videos, and a challenging message.  Students are encouraged to bring friends. 

 

Power Connection

     Power Connection is a Sunday morning class designed to help junior high students commit and GROW in their faith, by exploring biblical truths that are important to their literacy of God’s Word.
