Flowers: Chancel flowers may be given in memory of or in honor of a loved one by reserving the date on our Flower Chart in the CMC or by calling the church office. Twice a year, opportunities are given for additional floral donations: poinsettias at Christmas and lilies at Easter. Following the services, flowers are take to the hospital or to shut-ins.
Baptisms: These are scheduled through the Co-Pastors’ Assistant (see below). Parents do not need to be members of our church, but should be active in a church. Our Book of Order requires that information be given prior to any baptism. Baptisms are usually scheduled for the 6:00 pm Saturday or 10:30 am Sunday service, not on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday).
Weddings: The Sanctuary is available for weddings for both members and non-members. Our onsite Wedding Coordinator, Tangela Copeland, is available to assist with the planning. Click here to view/print an informational brochure. Contact Tangela to set up a planning and/or pastoral counseling appointment. She can be reached at (321)723-8371 or tcopeland@epcfl.org.
Funerals: Requests for funerals held at Eastminster or for pastoral service at another location, should be made through the Co-Pastors’ Assistant, Betsy Vosburgh, who can gather additional information for the pastors and schedule a time for the family to meet with them. She can be reached at 723-8371 or bvosburgh@epcfl.org. Click here to view/print a brochure on our services and to help the family, through the process.
Memorial Garden: Located just outside the Sanctuary, the Eastminster Memorial Garden is a place of beauty for prayer, mediation, and contemplation. The Garden was established as a peaceful repose for those cremated and desiring a place of burial near their house of worship. A memorial plaque is placed on the wall by the Garden. Additional information is available from the Church Business Administrator.
Memorial Endowments, Stocks, Annuities, and Trust Funds: Inquiries should be directed to the Church Business Administrator.
Emergency Preparedness Checklist: Click here to view/print a checklist for you, your family, and your church. Contact Sue Neville, 723-8371 or sneville@epcfl.org if you want to be a part of the church's Disaster Preparedness Team.
