THE GOSPEL OF LUKE:
For our daily Lenten devotions this year, we have asked members and friends of Eastminster to examine passages from the book of Luke and to share their thoughts. 

We followed a simple format:
S for Scripture (the actual scripture passage and a particular verse that spoke to them):
O for Observation (what is happening in this passage);
A for Application (how does this passage apply to their life); and
P for Prayer (what can they offer up to God, based on the study of this passage).

Writer: Because we at Eastminster are a friendly group, we also asked each respondent to identify themselves and to let us know about their spiritual and personal life, if desired.

LENTEN LUNCHES: Feb. 24, Mar. 3, 10, 17, 24. and 31
Elders of the congregation have developed a short message around a Biblical passage, to be shared each Wednesday for the Lenten Luncheon series.

These messages will be presented at 12 noon, followed at 12:30 pm by a light lunch in the Fellowship Hall. There is no cost to attend. You are invited to come early to hear a musical prelude, beginning at 11:40 am.
